Click to dial from my phone app. When an item in my DT has a phone number - one click dial
The ability to direct dial phone numbers from the DT list is critical. I can export the list to email, open it and the number are available to dial. I spend a lot of time driving and this option would close the entire deal for me.

completed items on checklist to move to bottom (just like Daily Targets)
I like it how when you check something off your Daily Targets it moves to the bottom of the screen so you can easily see what you have left to do. I would like checklists to work in the same way: completed items move to the bottom of the screen.

time line on tracker graphs to scale
The current tracker graphs have the same amount of space between entries whether they were a few minutes apart or a few months apart. I'd find it more helpful as a tracker, tracking how I'm doing at doing X every day, if I could see the graph on an axis that was to scale.

Setup Recurring Tasks on a Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Custom Intervals
It would be convenient to setup Recurring Tasks for specific days. Similar to outlook, you can set the Recurrence Pattern by Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly. We can also specify which days each task occurs on.
Ex: M-F Edit Reports | 1st Monday of Every Month | T&Th etc...

Backward planner to retain items and reference them when moved to other locations
This would be reverting to functionality that was removed in 4.0.
(I never think it a good idea to remove functionality, incidentally, unless there's a very good reason such that it actually hinders usability which, in this case, I don't think it did.)
In 3.0, we could add Backward Planner items to a Stuff I Want list item and then, when ready to act on a task, we could send it to either Dreamcatcher, Daily Target, or Short/Medium/Long Term Focus and the Backward Planner would retain the item in the list and a field would indicate where the item was…

Filter labels to exclude
It would be great to be able to filter labels to exclude what you don't want to see in daily targets. E.g. to filter out personal, or errands that you'd do later in the day whilst working on business items.

A Simpleology accountability partner system
A large deficit in the challenge of becoming truly productive is, when working / using Simpleology on one's own one needs to rely almost entirely on one's own faculties and willpower to remain focused. For many this is very difficult and no matter how good or effective the tools at our disposal are, this will always be deciding factor in whether or not they meet their goals.
In the spirit of "pair programming" (sorry to non-programmers, as a programmer it's the best analogy I can come up with) a Simpleology "pair productivity" accountability system would remove this final hurdle by…

Ability to convert sub tasks to targets
Sometimes you realize that a sub task actually should be a separate target (maybe with its own sub tasks). It would be nice to be able to convert this sub task to a target.

Habit of the month. Pick one habit that you will change each month and add it to recurring tasks
The biggest changes I have made to my life is through changing my habits whether they are something simple like making my own home made soup instead of having store bought, or mental habits such as not blaming others for my difficulties. They say it takes about a month to make a new habit a natural part of your daily life. I think it would be good to nominate one habit each month that you want to change and put it into recurring tasks.

Make recurring tasks stay clumped together, or have an option for this.
I have about 7 recurring tasks, and I would prefer them to stay lumped together. When I get to the last step, I am wasting time EVERY day trying to reorder these. I don't know why they all get jumbled up with the other targets.

Add ability to drag and drop tasks onto another task to become a sub task in start my day/morning brainstorm
I sometimes list out the separate steps to a process via dream catcher as they occur, so it would be really great to have the ability to drag and drop tasks onto another task so that it becomes a sub task when organising in start my day/morning brainstorm

to have a trashcan so I can retrieve what i deleted by mistake
I spent half an hour each on my short, medium and long term focuses, then in a moment of mindlessness, I deleted one. OMG, I just had heart failure because I can't retrieve it. :(

To have a way to review what you did at the end of the day and evaluate how much you got done and how much you didn't and why
I would like to have a way to have a way to evaluate what was done or not from the daily targets and why, as well as having a way of recording how much time was taken for each thing. I would also like it if the tasks that have been checked as done could have a time/date stamp attached to them that could be viewed if you decide to archive them (so you can keep track of when it was done and how long it took).
I think this could help identify time, energy, and money leeches, as well…19 votes
