Deciding “what to build next” is hard. Your voice is the most important element of our decision process. Don’t be shy – tell us what you want. But please look for the feature you want first, and if it’s already there, cast your vote. If not, start a new topic.

How can we improve Simpleology?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  1. More Major Focus Items

    Add additional Major Focus Items to each Timeframe Category as I for one have several major, medium and short term goals.

    I put in several, saved them and there is only one listed for each timeframe.

  2. Weekly view of scheduled tasks

    Allowing us to see all the tasks we have for the week so if we need to move something we dont blindly assign it to a day that is already packed. It allows us to see at a glance how much we have scheduled out and what days will be heavy or light.

  3. can we sort the daily task list by date entered

    so that I can see the stuff that I am putting off daily... I obviously don't want or need to do it so it would help me ID those tasks easily and decide if it should be delegated or trashed

  4. Create a sync / integration option with Google Tasks

    Create a sync / integration option with Google Tasks. This will allow people to use their calendars (whether Google, Outlook, etc.) to see tasks as they are easy to attach to Google. You could create categories in Google Tasks that match the ones on Simpleology.
    Additionally instead of transferring scheduled item to one’s calendar the task can just be dated (and will appear in calendar) but still reviewed and reconsidered the day it comes up.

  5. Add to Engines Option to Send Dreamcatcher Item to Recurring Tasks

    Sometimes we think of tasks that should be recurring. We should be able to send these to the Dreamcatcher with an engine that adds it to the recurring task list. Currently, I have to add my item as "Add this to recurring tasks: TASK HERE" and handle it the next day.

  6. Add Recurring Tasks To Daily Tasks

    With the Recurring Tasks occuring daily, weekly, monthly and/or custom to have these added into daily tasks.

    With custom recurring tasks to have a reminder message, notes, additional tasks to appear a few days or weeks before this task happens when need to get items together to make this happen.

  7. Mobile Dreamcatcher

    To be able to add a Dreamcatcher entry made on the phone app into the Daily Target list. You can't see the mobile DC entry once entered and can't access it unless you are in your laptop/desktop. It goes pouff!

  8. Allow for rearranging/re-ordering the trackers in Start My Day workflow

    I really love being able to use the Update Trackers module within the Start My Day workflow for important items relating to finances, daily activities, etc. since it really helps me keep tabs on this quantitative data really well, and am very grateful for it.

    However, I have noticed that unlike other lists, daily targets, etc. entries, I cannot drag and drop the trackers to change the order when updating them in Start My Day. This has honestly felt a bit limiting since I would like the ability to switch the display order so that I can prioritize them how…

  9. Adobe Flash Player is no longer supported.

    Simpleology 101 Quizzes use Adobe Flash Player which has an EOL of end Dec. 31, 2020.

  10. Ability to have custom icons for shortcuts.

    It'd be great if we can customize the icons being used for the dashboard shortcuts up top. Every time I add a shortcut to my dash, I'm always struggling to find the right icon for my desired shortcut.

  11. Ability to set up a time that systems will notify you

    When using systems I would find it beneficial if I could schedule the time that the software would send me my notification. This would help when I am unable to perform said task when the notification comes in ie people sleeping, dark outside, all ready have allocated time slot for other tasks and not by the computer or phone. I like to practice my craft, music, in the evening after supper before 6pm. It would be great if at 5pm I got the notification not at 4 am in the morning. I understand the reasoning for the early morning notifications…

  15. Update iOS App UI

    2021 is coming, the Simpleology Mobile last update was 5 years ago. The UI is too old, it has a black bar on top and bottom. It crashed when we type too fast into the Dream Catcher.

    So I think it's time to update the Mobile App UI.
