Simple way to invite someone to Simpleology
I would like a feature inside Simpleology that would make it easy for me to send an invitation to Simpleology.
My preference would be that Simpleology provide a brief one page intro to Simpleology and allow me to add a personal note.
It should be automatically identified as coming from me.
Now I just send an email with a link and type out something personal for them.1 voteIn simpleology 5.5 you can now import your entire contact list …

Incorporate previous Do It Later tasks into Start My Day
In addition to displaying the unfinished tasks from the previous day, it would be great to see all the things I knew I wouldn't have time to get to, so I can again choose from that list for today.
1 voteGlenda,
To accomplish what you’re asking for, when you move an item to the “Do It Later” list, opt to set a reminder date of when you want to review that item again.
All items with a reminder date set will appear in Start My Day on or after said date, for you to process.
For your specific request we recommend you set a reminder date of tomorrow when you move something to “Do It Later”. That way, tomorrow when you perform Start My Day, those items will re-appear for you to process.
Hope that helps.

Clicking "Prev" should not erase current state.
When doing Start My Day, sometimes I realize I should have set things up differently and want to make a small change. So I click "Prev", but then all my tasks are reset and I have to redo all the organizing I did.
4 votesYour Start My Day lists should now retain their order when clicking “prev” and/or “next”.

SMS
Actually allow dream catcher SMS to work by texting a PHONE NUMBER, not an email address. This could easily be done using an app like Tropo or Twilio. Then heck you can even set up to Tweet something to your dream catcher. And Google Voice texting will work too.
But where you claim "(yes, you can send a text message to an email address).", um, respectfully I'm going to say NO. No, you can't send a text to an email on all carriers and all providers.

Option for Dream Catcher item to be put into current daily tasks
If I forget something on my brain dump and think of it later, I have to redo start my day to get it onto my daily task list for today. Then most of my daily tasks are an ugly gray because all of them have been through the process before and are daily tasks not done. This is very uninspiring to have everything gray, to say nothing of the time it wastes to have to do start my day again!
3 votesDelaine,
Check out Simpleology Engines – https://my.simpleology.com/#engines – which will allow you to quickly route items you add to the Dream Catcher or Start My Day simply by including “keywords” to trigger the action.
Many Users have “dt” set up to route anything that starts with “dt” directly to their Daily Targets when the item is added to the Dream Catcher or Start My Day.
You should check it out.

Brainstorm and label
I think it would be much more intuitive if we were able to label as we are brainstorming. Categorizing the items as personal, business, or whatever label we desire. I personally feel I know exactly what category my brainstorm items fall into as I'm brainstorming.
1 voteDavid,
You may now use Simpleology Engines – https://my.simpleology.com/#engines – to control input into the Dream Catcher and/or Start My Day.
For your specific requests, simply create an Engine that applies the labels you’ve created. Then when adding Brainstorm items while performing Start My Day, use your Engine keywords to dynamically apply Labels to the entries you add.

A Button to export Lists (not daily targets but custom Lists) to print and email
Unless I was dreaming, I think I used to be able to do this with the old version. Love the new Simpleology, but I miss this feature, I used it a lot to update others on projects of interest to them, without gunking up the list with my mundane and sometimes personal Daily Targets).
19 votesMy.Simpleology now allows you to EXPORT any list in Simpleology; Daily Targets, Dream Catcher, Custom Lists, Trackers, Do It Later, etc. Hope that helps!

An Ap to access "to do" list from webcockpit
Ok, I understand it may be difficult to create an ap for this or that (or is it?, never made one), anyways, if there was going to be ONE ap that would in my mind be most effective/useful it would have to be an ap that allows you to access ones "to do" list from the web cockpit. How has this not already been done? I always need to know what is on my list as I am on the go, so yes, preferably a mobile ap would be best. Access the "to do" list, check off as done, add,…

In-Flow Deliberation
After completing start my day, with a well thought-out plan of execution. It is possible for the day to be interrupted by unforeseen events. I would like the ability for the Daily Targets to flow as I do. I may have to send things to deliberation that I planned to execute on during the current day. Instead of waiting for my "posting-and-planning" session, just to move them off my list without deleting them. So I will only see the executable items.
1 voteThis can be accomplished by changing something to “do it later” and giving it a reminder date of the next day …

Add "Move to tomorrow" to the SMD area
I often have things that need doing tomorrow or at least sometime in the next 2 weeks and I have freedom on when I want to do them.
Therefore when doing the SMD process I would like to push something to tomorrow's SMD. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow or maybe tomorrow I'll push it out again but I like the idea of it coming back automatically to the SMD process.
At the moment I have to go in to the Do It Later list and manually move items to the SMD, I want that automatically.
3 votesRobert,
You can actually accomplish what you’re looking to do using the following process (explained in the White Belt training series):
1). Perform Start My Day as you normally would.
2). When on the “Decide” step (guided mode), select all of the items you want to “move to tomorrow”, then click the “Deliberate” option for the selected items.
- Items marked as “Deliberate” will end up in a new table with the heading “Items Marked as Deliberate”.
3). Of the items you’re deliberating, select where the item is to be moved to (default is “Do It Later”), as well as a reminder date.
- For any item with a reminder date set, it will (re-)appear when you perform Start My Day on or after the reminder date set.
1). Perform Start My Day as you normally would.
2). When on the “Decide” step (expert mode), select all of the items…

Show the scheduled item when arrived on the daily target list of that day
If I schedule a task to be done after tomorrow,
I want it to appear on my daily targets list when that day arrive "after tomorrow" for exempleThanks
4 votesSalah,
Certainly see your point in that items set with a reminder date appearing in your Daily Targets on or after that date would make things convenient.
However, this logic is already employed in Start My Day (and not Daily Targets for good reason).
If, as you should be, you go through Start My Day – https://my.simpleology.com/#start-my-day – items with a reminder date equal to or less than today will appear for processing (just like you’re requesting for Daily Targets).
The difference is, in Start My Day you can intelligently decide, of those items, which you’re going to do today, and which you aren’t. For those you aren’t, you can adjust the reminder date and continue with Start My Day.
At the end of the Start My Day process you’ll have a far more intelligent and honest list of tasks to do today — over having items “just show up…

The Delegation Station needs a major upgrade.
Sort by delegatee, by due date, by status. Seems like a very important feature. Mass delete. I can barely use the delegation station because completed items are mixed in, no sorting, no prioritization. Ouch!

Schedule it - make it optional to delete it off the to do list
I don't like the way when it goes in the calendar that it deletes it off the to do list - I like to keep a record of all of the things I do and even when they are completed - we need to keep that in my business for an audit trail
1 voteWe have just updated Start My Day so that when you Schedule a task, said task is NOT deleted but instead moved to your Daily Targets marked as “done” / “complete”. Hope this helps!
