SMS
Actually allow dream catcher SMS to work by texting a PHONE NUMBER, not an email address. This could easily be done using an app like Tropo or Twilio. Then heck you can even set up to Tweet something to your dream catcher. And Google Voice texting will work too.
But where you claim "(yes, you can send a text message to an email address).", um, respectfully I'm going to say NO. No, you can't send a text to an email on all carriers and all providers.
We currently only support MMS to Dream Catcher in order to keep it FREE for all Users.
If MMS isn’t working for you, try out New Simpleology Mobile version 1.0 … we just released it today – http://www.simpleology.com/blog/2015/02/simpleology-mobile-app-v-1-0.html

+1 for SMS to a real number. To the Admin - did you not read the two previous comments? Both Geoffrey and Barry told you exactly which carrier doesn't support this, and that's Google Voice. Millions of people use Google Voice and none of us that do are able to use the SMS to Dreamcatcher feature just because you refuse to give us a real number to use.

I too, would like to be able to use Google Voice for SMS, but you cannot text to an email address using Google Voice.

Geoffrey, can you name a carrier that does not support the sending of a text message to an email address? We have not yet come across one.
