I thinks it's a good idea in principle but the issue with a live event is differing time zones.

Here in the UK I'm unlikely to tune into a live one as it would be the evening and no the start of my day.

How about a pre recorded series that compliments the start my day process so people get added value or a thought/feature for the day right at the beginning before embarking on the SMD process?

If you have the video and then a comment box directly below, maybe live text stream for current viewers, people would still feel involved and you could gather questions for the following day.

Just though I would throw the ideas out there.
