How can I separate my work from strong emotional stress, so that it doesn't effect my productivity?

This is really a question for a Clinical Psychologist or an Organizational Psychologist to handle properly.

Stress from working has made me physically ill at times. I would be keen to see this answered as well.

I like this idea; I find if I'm really stressed I can't focus & will procrastinate/time waste too much.
