It would be useful to have a way to list your daily task list in a prioritized order.
That way you can get things out of the way that may take more time/be more important first

I would like to be able to number the tasks in order of priority and to be able to change the number of a task and have it shift the whole list correspondingly.

The only sorting option I am aware of is drag and drop. What else is there?

Sorry if I've misunderstood you John but, you can prioritise your daily task list by dragging and dropping the tasks.
