A mobile online version of the webcockpit is the best comporomise to resolve the problem o which mobile platform to cater for. Good live example, GMAIL mobile. Available to all platforms. Easy to adapt and load into iGoogle, firefox sidebar, etc

I'd like to be involved - I run a mobile app consultancy - have developer 13 apps over the past 3 years and have been using simpleology for a few months now - love it - and can see what the app needs etc.

Already I see how Simpleology has vastly improved. It is so much easier now than before to understand and use it. The free version is ample enough for everyone but there are so many other features that to get to them requires a membership. Being that the membership is quite high, I wonder if it will be worth going for it. If the membership can be lowered, more people will sign up.

I asked about this when it got dropped and the response was something to the effect of they want users to use the sms-to-DC feature or the mobile web on their phones.. Problem with sms-to-DC is that you need to be Elite I think and problem with the mobile version is that the header stuff that looks nice in a 'real' browser because it resizes and moves around and stuff overlays all over the place which makes using the SimpleOlogy UI on a mobile device pretty much impossible.
I'd love to see a new version of a mobile app of some sort.. and MJ can feel free to PM me for beta testing it ;)

This would be so nice, I thought there was one, but it seems like it was discontinued.

I disagree. An app is nice, but simply utilizing a mobile stylesheet would be an easier and much more effective cross platform fix.

I loved having wimiki as an app on my iphone, but it had glitches & got scrapped. I prefer an app to go to to drop dream catcher ideas when I'm out and about.
Please!!!!! Gotta be a better more professional option to the email text options.... -

Totally agree it should be mobile but while, the benefits you raise above make sense the mobile app experience is so much better that I really think it needs to be an app (or series of apps) - maybe a quick poll among users to ascertain which devices are the dominant ones.
There are also suggestions below that people want an offline version, this is another reason that an app would get my vote. I live in HK so I'm not going to be texting and in some cases when i travel I won't have access to the browser either, particularly important for my to-do-list and dreamcatcher.
Having said that any mobile interface would be better than none! -

I'm also using the wimiki app even if they abandoned it, especially for the routines! Those are GREAT and I cannot understand why they wouldn't update it. Also, the possibility of using simpleology without having to leave the browser open it's a biggie.

I had to replace my phone and discovered during the back-up restore, I lost the app. Wasn't aware that it had been bailed on. Thought it worked well when I was away from my computer during the day. It's nice to have the text dreamcatcher capacity, but the fuller functionality of the app was great.
