Deciding “what to build next” is hard. Your voice is the most important element of our decision process. Don’t be shy – tell us what you want. But please look for the feature you want first, and if it’s already there, cast your vote. If not, start a new topic.

How can we improve Simpleology?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  1. please increase the area of sensitivity to the sliders in prioritize - it's eally fiddly to get the sliders to go where you want

  2. Ability to convert sub tasks to targets

    Sometimes you realize that a sub task actually should be a separate target (maybe with its own sub tasks). It would be nice to be able to convert this sub task to a target.

  4. Import lists

    If I have an outline and want to create a task for each item, it would be great if I could just import the outline and have each item create an item in a list

  5. Make it more like a game!

    People love addicting games! Make it so you can design a character and include "Power ups" and stuff like that!

  6. There should be much more control over the video tutorial experience.

    I think that the videos should by accessible for review, at least after
    we've already had the initial access. I think that we should be able to review all videos as many times as we need to really incorporate the process/skill, and at any time in the future. I know that being able to
    review a skill once we've added other skills and used it for a while, allows learning with a completely different insight and understanding. I'm an engineer, with over five years of experience as a math tutor, including at the grad level, but I still go back…

  7. Integrate Projects into Start My Day

    I like the Projects module, but find that I often don't use it to it's potential because there is no integration of projects into Start My Day. It would be nice to be able to toggle a step in Start My Day to review current projects for adding in to daily targets.

  8. Have Option to Check and Add "Do It Later" tasks to Start My Day

    Just as you can check boxes for the following when starting your day:

    JA, DT, R, DC

    Create a box that allows you to check and then add everything in your "Do It Later" lists.

    To achieve this, I have been offered to either set a reminder, set up a recurring task, or set it at deliberate. These don't do what I am trying to achieve.

    If I added something to my dream catcher a few days ago, but I can't do it that day (or schedule it), it ends up in neverland. I want to be able to revisit…

    Similar to
    "Allow viewing 100 daily targets on single page instead of just 30"
    but why stop at 100?
    I'd like to be able to decide how many per page, all the way up to all :)

  10. online billing

    The "Subscription/Billing" option doesn't cover the features being asked by several other users.

    I think many of us want to access a screen that shows our billing history, billing due dates, subscription level, and the ability to retrieve invoices easily.

    There's no simple way to access this information - especially things like when the bill is going to be due for the subscription.

  12. Modifying a system while it is active

    Currently, if I have an active system and I realise that the system tasks are in the wrong order or I need to add another task (this is likely to happen A LOT), I have to disable/cancel the current running system just so that I can reorder or add new tasks to it. This is very unhelpful and awkward since when I disable a system all the current tasks, whether delegated or or not, are deleted/cancelled.

    But I do not want them cancelled - I want myself or others to continue working on them. This greatly interrupts the workflow.

  13. Lists: Comment - "mouse-over" function

    When an item on a list has a Comment attached, it would be nice to be able to se this comment, or an extract thereof, with the mouse hovering over the icon. A so-called "mouse-over" function.

  15. Dark Mode Theme for Browsers

    I'm using Dark Mode Theme on Windows and iOS because it is more gentle on the eyes. It would be great if the simpleology site has a dark mode theme as well.

    I think in a more holistic and divergent way - not linear and piece by piece :-) ... Can you show the process and tools on a one pager (like a mindmap)?

  18. The Deligate option should compile into one email.

    When you deligate to an email address, it seperates each task into several different emails. An option to deligate say 5 items to one email address/person would create less congestion within the employee emails (thus, less room for error), sending ONE email to each employee email address stating that the deligated tasks are available.

    Also, listing the tasks in the email would help the employee get started if they are unable to get to a computer, especially if they have what they need to complete at least some of the tasks (unless a BlackBerry App is produced, this would solve…

    Small sticky note off to the side of My Day & My Life that stays with you as you navigate simpleology - for things like an inspirational message or other thing you want/need to keep in view everyday.

    Or you could jot a note there that you want to remember to put into another tab of the simpleology system once you're finished with what you're currently working on.

  20. Subtasks and comments in the other sections where editing tasks is possible (not just daily targets)

    I think the subtasks and comments under Daily Targets are such an awesome feature. I would like to also have them available under Dream Catcher, Backwards Planner or Mental Lockbox.

    As I am filling up tasks, I always almost want to be able to attach notes to them. I love this is possible in Daily Targets, but I'd like to be able to jot down notes whenever I am creating tasks in the Dream Catcher or Backwards Planner. I've also felt the need to add subtasks a few times. I also think the existing comments/subtasks should be preserved when moving…
