Allow scheduling tasks into another day
As you're going through DTP and you get to the scheduling part, allow scheduling into another day's task list. Say I remember that I need to drop off a package at FedEx on Monday, but it's Saturday. I'll naturally add that to my tasks in my brain dump, but I don't want it to show up in my calendar like an appointment, I want it to show up in my to-do list on Monday.
Basically during the schedule tasks part, include an option with a date. We chose that date and it sets that task to pop up in your task list when that day comes.

This would help a lot of people: Retirees, Caregivers, Working from home, artists, etc. Schedule something that must be done but can be done on a certain day, before a certain date, recurring appointment, recurring commitment, etc.

Would this also help with recurring tasks? I love the mobile app for catching my thoughts, but can't see my list of daily and weekly break out tasks.

I echo this suggestion. When I get to an item that needs to be done, I would intuitively say "Do it" instead of "Deliberate it". Then when I need to choose "Do it now" or "Schedule it", for the items that don't need to get done today, I would put them to "Schedule it". When I get to this point, I HAVE TO schedule out these items somewhere. I agree Mental Lock Box w/ reminders could fit this better but the way the usage flow is defined does not lead me to that route and I have no way to put "to-be-scheduled" items back to system.

I guess dream catcher sort of handles this, it just seems less intuitive.
