OFFLINE version of Simpleology, please!! I love the concept, but can't be connected to the internet.
I love the concept, but the requirement to be connected to the internet and store the data in the cloud is a showstopper for me. There are times I need access to SImpleology, but can't be online. A standalone Simpleology program would solve this problem entirely. Thanks for your consideration!!

There are so many thoughts I have on this. Here are some what I see as usable:
* Create an email to your dream catch, it will send when back online
* Create notes using the note app of the mobile device and copy across to the dreamcatcher when back online (I know a double handling process)
* Send in your text message, if your phone is offline, it will generally send once you are back onlineI work remotely lots with what I do in Australia currently, so I'm a +1 for the feature, though I am also willing to adapt and use what features and ways are available.
Happy to Help,
Marcus :-) -

Text messages and emails to Dreamcatcher are more of a workaround than a true solution.
I prefer an offline Simpleology that can sync with the account when you are online. I much rather use DreamCatcher and see my Targets that way, versus getting into email or text, having to remember the various codes to do this or that, and increasing the risk of getting distracted with email or text.
Not everyone is at the same level of memory, learning, etc. Simpleology should be simple. And my data is limited, so the app I do have on my phone I can't even use offline.
The current program works great for Mark, but it should work great for us too!

This will be of great help for me. I,d like to have access even when not connected or having Internet.

The ability to have offline version on iOS and Android would also allow for a better interface more friendly to finger navigation. Right now, the using Simpleology on Chrome on mobile experience is less satisfying than Simpleology on Chrome on a desktop.

Yes, please. It would be great to work off line and then get it synced with my account when I connect. For sure, less possibility of distraction. Thanks.

even just an offline version of the dream catcher for the mobile version that you could make entries to on a plane or whenever out of service range that would automatically add them back to the dreamcatcher whenever back in range would be very helpful. thanks! jesse

Absolutely - going online is very distracting from GTD. Give us an offline interface - for example, like dropbox or Evernote have - so we can get things set up, without risking links to facebook or whatever.

I live in the "bush" in an area where there is only dial-up or hub based internet. Satellite accesses is over $200 a month and so that is a no go for me as well. It is still the dark ages here and so offline would allow me to actually be a user on a regular basis. I have never joined because I could never get any real value from a subscription.

This is definitely the #1 thing that keeps me from being hooked on Simpleology. Either an iOS app or Chrome Web App with offline syncing/storage would be such a HUGE selling point. As a freeloader it'd certainly be the thing I'm most willing to pay for.
BTW, for me it's not at all about ubiquitous capture. It's entirely about offline access to my task list. I travel constantly and it's extremely frustrating to not have access to my task list when working offline.

Hilary, great suggestion - are you aware of the text message / email to Dream Catcher feature? You can in fact send Dream Catcher entries to yourself via text message when you're offline all day ... Our founder used this feature on a cross-country road trip and send himself hundreds of Dream Catcher entries.

This would be especially helpful for the Dreamcatcher: something that would let me enter ideas all the time, and sync when I have a connection.
Also just not having to visit the browser to jot things down would help. Browser = danger zone!

yes please! An offline version would also make the program faster to use I imagine?

Yes please - for it to truely be a tool I use all the time, an offline synced version would be so good - I travel a lot and often not able to connect to the internet easily so it makes me loose the momentum.

Exactly what Vidar said. I have to work Simpleology plus another system (Trello) because Simpleology doesn't work offline...

WOOHOO! Glad to see you have it planned!! Also, I think it's very cool that I got an email letting me know that this has been changed to planned. Thank you!

I agree that would be very cool. Also for traveling, as small amounts of browsing can cost a lot of $$$...
