  1. Add a timer and time allocation to tasks/targets

To assign time blocks to tasks, ie 5min, 15min, 30min, 1hr, 2hrs etc so we can estimate time needed for the day. A countdown timer would also be cool when we start a task/target so we dont get caught up wasting time. This creates a sense of urgency

  2. A Simpleology Calendar would keep everything together and, of course, make it simpler.

    A Simpleology Calendar will allow:
    1) scheduling immediately
    2) viewing all scheduled tasks
    3) setting reminders
    4) copying to other calendars
    5) deleting
    6) rescheduling
    7) move to Mental Lockbox or any other tab selected

When "Start My Day" opens up:
    1) the scheduled tasks for that day will appear
    2) daily reminders will appear

These will be handled exactly like a new task.
They will now go through the "Steps" again for handling.

    In the scheduling step,
    1) keep the manual option
    2) keep google
    3) keep outlook
    4) add simpleology
    5) add option to place in more than…

  4. Ability to have Multiple Medium and Long Term Targets.

Ability to enter only one medium term and long term target is severely limiting. We don't just have one of these. We have many...Family, health, wealth, etc. Having to stuff everything into just one target with one target date makes the exercise pretty meaningless. We achieve each of our medium and long term targets at different a different pace. Some are more important than others. Being able to have multiple medium and long term targets is much more realistic and makes our short term planning more realistic as well.

  5. OFFLINE version of Simpleology, please!! I love the concept, but can't be connected to the internet.

I love the concept, but the requirement to be connected to the internet and store the data in the cloud is a showstopper for me. There are times I need access to SImpleology, but can't be online. A standalone Simpleology program would solve this problem entirely. Thanks for your consideration!!

  6. Setup Recurring Tasks on a Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Custom Intervals

It would be convenient to setup Recurring Tasks for specific days. Similar to outlook, you can set the Recurrence Pattern by Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly. We can also specify which days each task occurs on.

Ex: M-F Edit Reports | 1st Monday of Every Month | T&Th etc...

  7. Better Integration of Backward Planner Items into Daily Target Praxis

I've noticed a gap in the integration of Backward planner items into Daily Tasks.

To me the beauty of Simpleology is the integration of daily tasks into your short, medium and long term plans but this doesn't seem to happen automatically.

Simply adding all the backward planner items to the bottom of the target praxis Step 1 (Brain dump) or Step 2 (review your targets) would solve this problem automatically.

For the sake of neatness it would make sense perhaps, to add the relevant backward planners to the relevant "review your major targets" tabs within the praxis.

    Simply being able…

  8. Include A My Journal section alongside My Day, My Life, My Training

Writing in a journal helps bring clarity to a lot of situations and somehow helps sift through confusion. That's my experience anyway. The DTP does a great job with ideas, I think A My Journal section would help flesh out and bring to mind the really good ideas . I already use a journal quite a bit and it would be super to drop a good idea into the Dream Catcher. Of course access to the Journal should only be for the writer of the journal.

  9. Let people create & share checklists so members can become each others' accountability partners

Checklists can be for one-time goals or to maintain a daily or weekly routine. Find a checklist you like and add it to your profile. Do it on your own or join in a group to hold you accountable. See when group members do (or miss) their tasks.

  10. Output lists of targets to a printer / PDF

Add a button on each screen of the WebCockpit to print/export the list of targets, appropriately formatted, to a printer or PDF document.

This would help those who work away from a computer but don't have smart phones (or otherwise just prefer paper).

All sections of the WebCockpit should be printable for off-line use, but most importantly, Daily Targets.

The printed/exported Daily Targets list should have checkboxes added next to each target (achievable using CSS print rules) so that people can tick off completed targets on the paper.

  11. A Graph Of Your Progress Towards One Of Your Main Goals

This will allow you to see in real time how much you have accomplished towards your man goal. You would reverse engineer one main goal into action steps. Every time you completed an action step, a percentage of your main goal would be completed and this info would show up in a chart or graph so that you could visually track your progress. Very motivation I think.

  14. "Picture says 1000 words" - could we upload and display images instead of, or as well as text? we think in pictures..

It occurred to me while I was setting a new goal, that I had a single image that summed up the end result, and because it was an image, it was, I felt a lot more powerful/motivating than text. I thought if I could login and see that image as a goal - it inherently contains/communicates the details neccesary in achieving it. Naturally you would use text/tracking etc as well to progress towards it. I thought it would be more powerful to have an image of what I want/to acheive along with text of what I need to do to…

  17. Recurring tasks hasn't enough detail to be truly useful

Rather than recurring tasks simply turning up daily in Start my Day, can we add a refinement to such tasks to specify if daily, weekly, monthly etc and specify a day of the week and/or date? This would make this option much more useful. Thank you!

  19. Optional "Advanced DTP" for those who manage several projects simultaneously

Simpleology should be kept as simple as possible for everyone.

However, many of us do have several goals/projects at a time, that do not necessarily fit into just one Short, one Medium and one Long Term Major Focus. It is too limiting and not the way most people work. Some projects will have similar-term due dates but we cannot wait for another similarly-termed project/target to be completed before we can work on/focused on the others (if it's a Long Term Focus target this could be up to a year!). As we work toward our Long/Medium/Short Term targets, our Daily Targets…
